INONE KMU
Redesigned the inOne KMU management experience, creating a flexible system that supports S, M and L packages while simplifying how business customers manage internet, telephony, security and additional services.
Year :
2022
Industry :
Telecommunications, B2B
Client :
Swisscom
Project Duration :
1 year

The Product
inOne KMU was Swisscom’s connectivity solution for small and medium-sized businesses. It brought together internet, business telephony, service packages and optional add-ons in one offer. Since every company had different needs, customers could configure their package by choosing the right internet speed, number of phone lines and level of support. This flexibility was one of the product’s main strengths, but it also made the digital experience more complex.

FROM A DEISGN PROSPECTIVE
I redesigned the inOne KMU management experience within My Swisscom Business. This was the system customers used after activating their subscription to view and manage their internet, telephony, security services and additional options. The experience had to support the different S, M and L packages, each with its own features and configurations. I mapped what the packages shared, where they differed and how those differences should appear in the interface. This allowed me to create a consistent structure and interaction model across the entire product family.
The Challenge
The existing system felt dated and made it difficult for customers to understand their product and manage its different services. Depending on the package, customers had access to different features, settings and configuration options. The challenge was to create one coherent experience that could support all three product variants without showing irrelevant controls or hiding important functionality. At the same time, the redesign had to respect the existing business rules and technical dependencies behind each service.

The existing system felt dated, both visually and in the way users moved through it. The offer included several products, options and dependencies, which meant that one selection could affect the choices available in the following steps. Customers had to compare technical details, understand what was included and keep track of how each decision changed their package and its price. The challenge was to simplify this journey while preserving the flexibility of the offer and the business logic behind it.
